GEN Pendant Necklace in Silver
This exclusive necklace for The Girls Empowerment Network is designed to raise awareness and impact the success of this organization. The We Are Girls Austin Conference, produced by The Girls Empowerment Network, reaches 2,000 girls in 3rd – 8th grade and the adults who care about them. With nationally recognized keynote speakers, dozens of dynamic break-out sessions, and an empowering dance party, girls get to be totally in charge of their day. Most importantly, girls who attend the Conference walk away inspired by what’s possible, feeling more connected to others, and with a new belief in their personal power.
Tickets cost $30 per person and 60% of attendees are girls from low income households who receive scholarships to attend. With this purchase a $30 donation will be made towards a ticket to the annual Conference allowing one girl to attend.
Help us to strengthen, encourage and inspire girls to be confident and strong and to know anything is possible.

About The Girls Empowerment Network
Originally called the Ophelia Project, The Girls Empowerment Network (GEN) was created in 1996 by 12 devoted and concerned mothers of adolescent girls in Austin, Texas. These mothers met after reading Dr. Mary Pipher’s #1 New York Times Bestseller, Reviving Ophelia to address an increasing trend among middle school aged girls toward a systemic decline and sometimes permanent loss of self-esteem, almost guaranteeing a devastating outcome. GEN’s mission is to empower girls by teaching them the skills to thrive and believe in their ability to become unstoppable.
